Donges SteelTec participates in Girls’ and Boys’ Day

On March 28, eight students spent a day at Donges SteelTec as part of the nationwide Girls’ and Boys’ Day and gained their first insights into working life.

The young people were first allowed to construct their initials on the computer in our technical office and then later spray the letters burnt out of steel sheets with color according to their own taste. They also got to know the various departments in administration, assembly and our bridge and building construction divisions. For the young people, the day ended with a stay in our production department, where they were able to experience first-hand the production and processing of large steel structures for bridge and building construction projects.

“For many years, we have enjoyed using this day to give interested young people an understanding of the many career opportunities offered by our steel construction company,” commented Joachim Abt, Training Manager at Donges SteelTec.
