Merck Run 2026 in Darmstadt – On your marks, get set, go!

On May 12, 2026, the Merck Run in Darmstadt kicked off for the 13th time with the call to action: “Be there!” Numerous companies from Darmstadt and the surrounding area lined up at the starting line, including 30 athletic participants from Donges SteelTec who took on the challenge.

Participants could choose between different distances of 2.5 km, 3.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km. Despite initially stormy weather and rain showers, the sun came out just in time for the start, creating optimal running conditions with pleasant temperatures.

Once the final 10-km runner, Mr. Ries, had crossed the finish line with a personal best, nothing stood in the way of a relaxed get-together. After the athletic portion of the day, all participants gathered at a nearby sports bar. There, the company treated its sports enthusiasts to drinks, pretzels, and sausages.

Donges SteelTec looks forward to participating in large numbers in the Merck Run again in 2027. The company actively supports such events because they strengthen team dynamics and give everyone involved the opportunity to spend a wonderful time together.
