Technical Engineering in Structural Analysis and Design
We design and engineer steel structures for building construction and bridge construction — from the initial structural calculation through to the final erection documentation. Our technical office combines structural engineering, workshop and erection planning, as well as the detailed development of connection and façade details into one integrated engineering process.
Based on the structural calculations, we prepare reliable 3D-models, workshop drawings, erection drawings, general arrangement drawings and geometry plans. These documents form the binding basis for fabrication, corrosion protection, dispatch and erection — and therefore for schedule, quality and cost control within the project.
A key focus is the erection planning of complex construction sequences. Erection methods, temporary construction stages, erection sequences, temporary works and interfaces with other project stakeholders are planned in such a way that execution on site can be carried out safely, efficiently and transparently.
Our 2D and 3D CAD systems provide consistent data for this purpose: for production control, coordination with clients and partners, and project documentation. Several design teams translate the engineering requirements into precise detailed design — because this is exactly where it is decided whether a steel construction project can later be fabricated and erected without disruption.
Fabrication
At the heart of our company are our five workshops, providing almost 35,000 m² of covered production space on our approximately 65,000 m² company site. High-performance crane systems enable individual component weights of up to 160 tonnes — a decisive factor when bridges and large-scale structures have to be delivered economically and on schedule.
The entire process is handled in-house: work preparation, cutting, assembly, welding and corrosion protection. This ensures short communication paths, clear responsibilities and consistent control of quality, deadlines and interfaces.
Each component passes through defined fabrication and inspection processes. Prior to dispatch, systematic inspection and acceptance are carried out in accordance with the contractual requirements and the applicable standards and regulations — documented and traceable as the basis for erection and project documentation.
We also handle dispatch and logistics planning internally. Oversized and heavy-load transports are prepared and coordinated on a project-specific basis and aligned with site logistics, ensuring that the components arrive at the right place, at the right time and in the right condition.
Assembly
From structural steel construction and power plant construction through to major road, railway and waterway bridges, our erection specialists plan and execute the erection of structures on site.
We have many years of experience in developing, planning and implementing erection concepts across our entire product portfolio.
Professional construction sequence planning, taking into account all trades involved on site, is the key to successful project execution, site coordination and the completion of the overall structure. All activities must be precisely calculated and scheduled in advance by our erection team.
In doing so, we make use of the short communication paths between our project departments, technical office, fabrication, quality assurance and erection teams. This enables us to work in close partnership with our clients and deliver strong performance in terms of schedule reliability, flexibility and quality.
